Marissa Lambert-Power

Marissa Lambert- Power began her career in the hospitality industry in 2005 she began as a server and worked in to her first management position in 2009 at Upstairs Cabaret. She was instrumental in marketing and rebranding the club after an ownership change under the guidance and direction of General Manager Joel Friesien.

 

During these years she was still working part- time as a server at The Fairmont Empress in 2011 she took over as manager of The Empress Room and The Bengal Lounge. During the next year she worked to raise the exposure of The Fairmont to a younger and more local demographic by creating The Bengal Affair and bringing live music in to The Bengal Lounge four nights a week. This position allowed for a great amount of learning and growth managing a team of 70 plus people. She was rewarded for he hard work by being named Leader of the first Quarter.

 

After over a year in this position she was ready to branch out on her following her passion and creating her own Event Coordination and Creative Consulting Company. Although this is a new endeavor it has been going very successfully with a monthly charity fundraiser Friends of Belmiro’s. Her events to date include the grand opening of Ma-Luxe, LYF Launch Party, The Black Hat one-year anniversary party. Décor for Home for the Honeymoon. Upcoming in December she has multiple corporate Christmas parties and most anticipated Fight 4 the Cause a social boxing event that will be bringing old school Hollywood Glamour back to the sport of boxing.
